We build tiny houses and little houses, and we build them, using quality, vintage materials that we salvage from old homes that have stood for 100 years or more.
Our focus is on building energy-efficient homes with vintage charm, just like our forefathers did: built to last for another 100 years or more!

Vintage Features
All of our homes are designed to incorporate vintage charm, depending upon your tastes. These include the following:
- Reclaimed shiplap lumber, typically pine or cypress
- Reclaimed beadboard in a wide variety of colors
- Reclaimed rough-sawn planks that are typically 1″ x 12″
- Antique beveled glass or stained glass

We build to suit your plan or ours.
We specialize in building tiny homes and little homes. We define “tiny” as homes up to 599 square feet and “little” as homes from 600 to 1,299 square feet.

If a tiny or little home doesn’t suit your fancy, please contact us. Larger square footage plans are also available.
Building/Delivery
We either build on site or we build at our location in East Texas and ship the completed homes using trusted home moving companies. The choice of where to build largely depends on your location and the house plan you choose to construct.
Pricing
Home pricing is based on size, style and the various amenities you choose. Just pick a plan and contact us for a quote.
Construction and Delivery Area
We will construct homes on site, generally within a 200 mile radius of our business location in Alto (East Texas). However, we may be able to accommodate special requests for construction outside these parameters.
We work with home moving companies to deliver homes to all of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
Ordering Process
If you are interested in building a tiny or little home, please contact us at kim(at)livingvintageco.com or use our handy contact form. Once you have picked a house plan that interests you, we will discuss with you constructing on site (or delivery) … whichever works best for the both of us. Then,we will start work on providing you with a quote. Once you decide to move forward, we require a downpayment, typically 25% down.
Financing
We go the extra mile and work with area lenders to help our clients obtain competitive financing terms. For example, Austin Bank with locations throughout Texas offers affordable housing finance terms.
We also have offered owner-financing terms on occasion with 25% down.
