How has your week been?
After a glorious 4-day weekend, it was a little difficult to contemplate going back to work, but I do like getting back to my daily/weekly routine. However, I always enjoy my weekends, and it’s that time of year when I’m starting to bake much more. Plus, I’m trying many new soup recipes, some of which I’ll be sharing soon.
Happy weekend, Friends!

Oh, gee, honey…{I say in my most sarcastic voice} a brush. For Christmas. Thank. You. {Thought bubble} What makes you think I need another brush? Don’t you think maybe a nice silver bracelet would be more appropriate? Perhaps a vacuum cleaner would be on the same line? No…I want a washing machine. You couldn’t even spring for a nice barrette??? What?!! How about include some shampoo? I could never splurge on something like that for myself!!! Geez…SMH!
I know…I’m ungrateful and selfish. After all, I got YOU an expensive leather tri-fold wallet. It’s NEVER going under that tree!!!

You nailed the sarcasm, Fonda! Love it!
