Sorry to have been so absent from the blog last week.
My reason?
Food poisoning.
Fried chicken from a grocery store deli was the culprit.
Who knew that by mentioning last Friday that I was planning to take plenty of rest that I was jinxing myself??
Can you imagine living in this small village and witnessing such displays of nature’s majesty?
Such a clever way to illustrate a ballerina, don’t you think?

I think the mirror and how it’s displayed is so pretty. (This is actually two images of the same mirror.)
The reclaimed wood wall caught my eye. You wouldn’t think that multicolored wood installed vertically and horizontally would be so pretty, but it sure is.
The little family with brown shoes . . . Such a sweet photo.
This is one beautiful stenciled floor. I’m sure I’d be looking down every time I walked down this narrow hallway.

Oh my goodness – so sorry to hear of your food poisoning! My husband experienced that several years ago – we thought it was chicken then, also (from a restaurant). He ended up in the hospital. I hope you’re fully recovered. You find the BEST images! I love these.

Still not fully recovered but getting there . . . Thanks, Rita!

I got food poisoning last august from deli chicken strips from the grocery store. I thought it was the flu. Ended up being called campylobacter after expensive lab tests and doctor visits. I was passing blood and severely dehydrated. Had to take very strong antibiotics 10 days to kill the bacteria. They said one of the things that causes it was under cooked chicken among other things. I remember looking at the inside of the chicken strip and it looked done, but it wasn’t. Hope you are feeling better and it wasn’t as bad as I had it.

My episode wasn’t near as bad as yours, thank goodness.
