It’s been a lazy, rainy week. It rained for two days straight which was so nice. I am so thankful for it.
I’ve concentrated on doing household chores like washing laundry and organizing recipes . . . and have been catching up on writing blog posts. Yay!
Happy weekend, everyone.
I think this this doggy sandwich stand was quite fetching. Can you imagine how fun this would be in a front yard?
I thought this repetitious display of old gas pump dials was quite mesmerizing.
One of the purposes behind my blog is to try to make a small difference. One of the causes near and dear to my heart are rescue dogs. I hope you’ll help me save and life and share this article or this pin.
I love the black and white paint on this little vintage travel trailer.
Oh, I so want to own this miniature log house with its fenced yard and lucky guinea pigs!!
This epic photo of an old lumber mill is both fascinating and a little scary. If one of those stacks topped, it could have easily killed someone.
This is one hilarious photo. The man in the background says it all: “Not the accordian again!”
I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it many times again: I love illustrations like this one. Kind of makes you think about coincidence, doesn’t it.

Kim,
I have been viewing your blog for a few years now and just wanted to write and say how much I appreciate you. Your taste, your collections, your views and your business of recycling and of course your humour and wit. I am very computer illiterate (can’t even post pics!) but get great satisfation out of your hard work of compiling bits of life. Although this probably sounds corny or plain odd, it seems like we could be friends that giggle and share dreams of the “next-great-antique-find”! You certainly have a gift for brightening my day, thank you so much. Debra
